The Design Process

  • Business Challenge

    The primary challenge was improving user engagement, content discovery, and subscription conversions within the product interface. Users faced difficulty interacting with important features such as videos, reading resources, and subscription modals. This led to lower interaction rates and reduced opportunities for achieving business goals like increased subscriptions or content consumption.

UX and UI solutions for three critical areas:

Subscription Modal

  • Problem:

    Subscription prompts were intrusive or lacked clarity, causing users to dismiss them without engaging.

  • Design Solution:

    • A clean, visually engaging modal that clearly outlines the value proposition of subscribing.

    • Emphasized benefits of the subscription, with a focus on key actions like “Subscribe” or “Learn More.”

    • Impactful UI: Strategic use of visuals, a CTA (Call-to-Action) button hierarchy, and consistent branding.

Video Pop-Up

  • Problem:

    Video content was underutilized due to poor visibility or accessibility.

  • Design Solution:

    • Created a video pop-up with an immersive viewing experience while ensuring seamless navigation back to the main interface.

    • Added a clear play button and easy-to-understand controls to reduce cognitive load.

    • Ensured responsiveness for all devices to improve accessibility.

Reading Modal

  • Problem:

    Users struggled to engage with reading content due to cluttered interfaces or poor readability.

  • Design Solution:

    • Designed a modal with a focus on readability—clean typography, sufficient white space, and clear content structure.

    • Included a scrollable interface with progressive disclosure, ensuring users could consume content at their own pace.

    • Enhanced user flow by integrating intuitive navigation buttons for additional resources.

Subscription Modal
